HACKATHON – TELECOM NANCY – FRANCE – NOVEMBER 2019

 

HITEC Luxembourg participated in the 2019 edition of the Hackathon “Big data” of the Telecom Nancy engineering school which took place from November 18 to 22.

For 1 week, students worked in teams of 4, to submit innovative analyses based on data and issues proposed by digital companies. HITEC Luxembourg tested them on the prediction of short-term travel times based on road events, weather and day of the week. Guillaume, Louis, Quentin, Claire, Zoé, Samy, Matta and Adel tested several data classification techniques and algorithms: artificial intelligence, deep-learning…
The results of their work are encouraging for high value-added services for traffic operators and users. After this beautiful victory, we wish them good luck for their future careers.

CROSSBORDER DIGITAL TESTBED – SCHENGEN – APRIL 2019

 

HITEC Luxembourg shows up its know-how and its ITS (intelligent transport systems) solutions during the inauguration of the European cross-border digital testbed in Schengen.

Mobility is currently crossing a new – digital – border with increasing levels of connectivity and automation, allowing vehicles to “talk” to each other and communicate with both road infrastructure and other road users.

NETWORK OF ACTORS IN INTELLIGENT MOBILITY – PARIS – FRANCE – 2019

 

As a historical actor in traffic management in Luxembourg, HITEC Luxembourg expresses its desire to perpetuate its partnerships with local authorities and governments to enable them to face the technological paradigm shift at the service of citizens and territories.
To pursue our development strategy in ITS, HITEC Luxembourg has joined the ATEC-ITS network, a recognized leader in the professional community. Thus, we wish to take advantage of the watch on the field of intelligent mobility and actively participate in the exchange of ideas with its members. We hope to be able to form partnerships to collectively address the challenges of ITS and the fight against global warming.
